The Norwegian Association for Children's Palliative Care

Approximately 6000 children in Norway are living with life-shortening or life-threatening health conditions – and the number is continually rising.

The Norwegian Association for Children's Palliative Care are Scandinavia's leading organisation in the work for children's palliative care and are speaking out for all the children who are expected to have short lives. Together with everyone who provides care and support for these children and their families, we are here to help them have as fulfilling lives as possible, and the very best of care at the end of their lives. We cannot change their diagnoses, but we can help the children and their families make the most of their time together.

We are also supporting professionals and organisations across Norway. We help them by contributing knowledge and information and offering courses and lectures on children's palliative care. By working together, we can provide a strong and unified voice. We will also shortly start fundraising for the establishment of Norway's first hospice for children.

Our members – individuals, teams and organisations – are interested in and committed to supporting children with life-shortening conditions and their families.

Our work include :

Education and information, lobbying for the development of children's palliative care, advocacy work, fundraising, guidance, and consulting services.
